Maggie Raburn currently serves as a secondary math and science teacher at Spring Valley School. She teaches 6th grade math, Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry and Earth Science. Maggie has been teaching at Spring Valley for two years. Maggie received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Alabama in May 2014. She is trained in Multisensory Math through Marilyn Zecher through the Atlantic Seaboard Dyslexia Education Center and is also trained in Orton-Gillingham methods.Maggie is an ambassador for Kind Campaign, a non-profit organization committed to ending girl bullying. She has started the local Kind Club at Spring Valley school and leads Kind Campaign assemblies at the school.
