I am originally from Jacksonville, Florida but moved to Birmingham after graduating high school. In 2020 I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from The University of Alabama. Throughout my first two years of teaching, I was able to work towards earning my Master’s degree. In the spring of 2022, I graduated from The University of Alabama with a Master’s degree in Elementary Education with a specialization in Science and Social Studies. I have previously taught third and fourth grade at a school just outside of Tuscaloosa. I published an article in The Social Studies Journal outlining a student-led, inquiry-based lesson plan. Outside of school, I love shopping, cycling, and spending time with my fiancé and our sweet puppy, Miller!
