Kind Club

Many researchers believe that the bullying and social anxiety students face, often correlate with grades, test scores and an academic experience overall. Kind Club is designed to offer a safe place for girls to come together to create strong and healthy friendships. The hope is that by simply starting an open and honest dialogue about the numerous struggles girl’s face, they truly feel empowered to break down social barriers, lean on each other and create change in their hallways and community.

Students create characters and maps to work through tough plot points. Play Dungeons & Dragons with friends or any other tabletop game.

Anglers Club

The fishing team has competed and placed at multiple state tournaments, results in an invitation to the World Championship.

SVS House System

The House System, inspired by the Ron Clark Academy, builds a strong sense of community by fostering belonging, leadership, and teamwork among students, staff, and families. Students are placed into one of four houses, where they participate in activities, earn points for positive actions, and work toward shared goals. By creating “a crew and a cause” for every student, the system promotes motivation, stronger relationships, and a more positive school culture. Learn more about the houses!
