School Counseling Resources

If you or someone you know are struggling with mental health, please know you are not alone. If a friend voices struggles to you, remember:

  • Tell your friend you hear them, but also want to help and need to tell an adult

  • Ask if they want to go with you to talk to an adult - if they don't want to, that is ok too!

  • Find a trusted adult and explain the situation

  • Let the adult handle it from there

  • Support the friend as needed but also report any continued concern back to the trusted adult

  • Remember: You are not responsible for your friend’s actions or thoughts
