Literacy Development Services

Literacy development services are specialized, evidence-based reading instruction designed for students who struggle with foundational reading skills. Lessons provide explicit, systematic, and cumulative instruction in areas such as phonological awareness, phonics, decoding, spelling, and word structure.

Unlike general reading intervention, dyslexia therapy specifically targets the underlying skills that can make reading and spelling difficult for students with dyslexia.
 

A CALT Certified Academic Language Therapist) is a specially trained professional who provides structured literacy instruction for students with dyslexia and other reading difficulties.

CALT training goes beyond general reading instruction. It prepares instructors to identify and address specific challenges with phonics, decoding, spelling, and language skills through explicit, systematic, and individualized instruction.

For students with dyslexia, this specialized approach helps build the foundational skills and confidence they need to become stronger readers.

Dyslexia therapy services are $80 per session, with reduced rates available for multi-session bookings. This allows families to choose a schedule that best meets their student’s needs while making ongoing support more accessible.
