  • SVS transitioned to a distance learning platform (via Google Meet and home-based binders) effective Wednesday, March 18 at 8:00 am. Virtual learning is anticipated to continue through the conclusion of this semester.

  • If your student is sick or has been exposed to illness, we ask that you keep your student at home and access the online classroom via Google Meet effective immediately.

  • SVS will regularly wipe down and sanitize surfaces and areas of high contact.

  • We are reviewing with students the importance of frequent and thorough hand washing and the proper etiquette surrounding coughing and sneezing.

  • SVS will follow the health department’s lead on any quarantines, closures, or other health measures as needed. SVS Leadership and faculty have in-place a (contingent) comprehensive long-distance learning plan.

  • If your student is sick, they must be 24-hours fever-free and vomit-free, without medication, for 24-hours before returning to school.

  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. If you don’t have a tissue, cough or sneeze into your elbow or shoulder, not into your hands.

  • Teach your children not to share personal items like drinks, food, or unwashed utensils.

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth whenever possible.
