Rebecca Zanotti

Rebecca Zanotti is the Dean of Students and a School Social Worker at Spring Valley School. She holds a Master of Social Work from Samford University, a Master of Art Education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Birmingham-Southern College. Before pursuing her MSW, she taught high school art for five years.

In addition to her role at Spring Valley, she is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and serves as a member of the Alabama Special Education Advisory Panel. She is also involved with Camp SVS, where she continues to support students' growth and development.

Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her family, attending her children's sporting events, and caring for their 11 pets, which include 4 dogs, 5 cats, and 2 ferrets. She loves traveling and believes in empowering students to harness their learning differences as superpowers. With a focus on the whole learner and the whole child, she is dedicated to helping students become the best versions of themselves at Spring Valley School.
