Parent Network
The Parent Network normally meets every second Tuesday of the month at 8:30AM at the school.
The Spring Valley Parent Network is an organization of student families who work together for the benefit of the students, families, and school. In addition, they provide our staff and our school with hours of time and devotion as well as donations of funds, food, and fun!

The Parent Network urges parents to volunteer and share their time, energy, skills, and experience with all the students. We are asking all the parents to be generous in supporting the activities of the Parent Network, which directly benefits ALL the students in the school.
PLEASE help us fill the current open positions for the 2008-2009 school year!

The Parent Network helps with: Grandparents & Grandpal Day, Mail Campaign Fundraiser, Sunshine on the Vine, Chili Cook-Off, Teachers Appreciation Day, students' birthdays, and the Book Fair.

Holiday Food Drive
We will begin a Food Drive for the Holiday season in October.

Inclement Weather
Please be on the alert for weather announcements. We follow the Jefferson County Schools decision regarding closing or delay of school. In the event of a school closing or delay of starting time, Joan Keagy or Lucy Welsh will alert the Parent Network calling tree, and you will receive a call. In addition please use your own judgment regarding safety when driving. Please call the school at 423-8660 and leave a message if your student will be absent due to weather.

Khaki pants are required for boys and khaki pants or skirts are required for girls. No exceptions to the dress code will be allowed.
