Admission Criteria

Spring Valley follows strict admission criteria to identify students that are most appropriate for the school to serve in order to uphold its mission as set forward by the Board. 

Spring Valley School admits students with learning disabilities as identified by diagnostic testing (see The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fourth-Edition) and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder as diagnosed by a medical doctor. 

Applicants must have documented average to superior intelligence. Learning disabilities may include dyslexia, dysgraphia, math disorder, and/or disorder of written expression.

Our program does not accommodate students with behavioral or emotional difficulties.
